All children are eligible for Nursery Education Funding from the term after their third birthday. This gives them 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year until they reach compulsory school age.
At The Blue Strawberry, we can offer five free three hour sessions per week; if you choose to have longer sessions, ie. a full morning or afternoon, then wraparound charges will apply. All invoices will have the relevant funding entitlement discounted.
Alternatively you could claim a maximum of two three hour sessions in any one day up to a maximum of 15 hours per week. Again invoices will have the relevant funding entitlement discounted.
Funded sessions are available during term time only:
Leamington Spa:
- Morning sessions – 8.30am to 11.30am
- Afternoon sessions – 1pm to 4pm
Cawston:
- Morning sessions – 8.30am to 11.30am
- Afternoon sessions – 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Nursery Education Funding Claims are made at the beginning of each term and therefore, children starting part-way through the term will not be eligible until the following term. If funding has been granted for an alternative childcare provider, then it is non-transferrable and normal daily charges will apply.
