The Blue Strawberry Nurseries aim to make sure that the children we care for are happy, safe and stimulated at all times. We place a particular emphasis on the following areas:
Education
It is vital that learning is a fun and exciting experience; we ensure that all children are provided with a wide range of opportunities which actively incorporate lively discussions between children and adults. Music and songs are used to improve speech, language and communication skills, simple mathematical concepts can help a child develop problem solving skills and play equipment such as climbing frames, slides and balls aid spatial awareness, co-ordination and balance. We ensure that our educational planning relates directly to The Early Years Foundation Stage.
Kindness and Consideration
We value the children in our care and help them learn about the wider community through play, interaction and planned activities. They are encouraged to respect others and show consideration to those around them, creating a foundation for social skills that will stay with them for life.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review our practices and procedures to ensure that the children’s safety and welfare is being protected in the most effective way. We always strive for best practice by reflecting, reviewing and updating our Nursery provision. The early years is continually evolving and therefore we welcome all feedback in order to develop quality child care and education.
